Sorry this post has got a bit long but would appreciate some advice if you have any. Thanks Carla xx. Original poster's comments 3. Hi carla, I posted about this last week, my baby is cows milk intolerant but was fed Aptamil and we used Dr Browns bottles, and had pretty much the same problems and switched to Aptamil comfort, pretty much straight away he started bleeding rectally and we were admitted to hospital, it stopped within 24 hours after going back to normal Aptamil and they then found out about the allergy, but why did that particular brand make him bleed?

As for the Dr Browns, we had the fussy baby, wouldn't finish a feed, so I tried the Tommee Tippee and we have had 5oz bottles being drained, wind coming up better, the only thing I can think of is that my LO couldn't get the milk quick enough and was getting the hump mid feed and giving up! This is my experience and not meant to scare as I'm sure people have had excellent results with both the bottles and formula!

Very smelly poo and frts a lot as well!! Omg I forgot how confused newborns can make you! So I thought it was bad wind making him fuss on the bottle but yesterday he fell asleep on every bottle to the point I couldn't wake him to wind so I'm now wondering if I need to put him on the next size teat instead of changing his milk!

I am wondering if he is taking more air trying to suck so hard to get enough out as he has also been making loud sucking noises on the bottle too. Maybe he is fussing cos he's getting frustrated. Haven't been able to get more than 4oz per feed down him for the last 7 feeds cos he falls asleep or starts fussing.
