What happens if you abandon firelands quest

I was able to move, and the mobs for the quest did phase in, but I had no means to kill them. After abandoning and restarting it a number of times, it randomly started working in the background while I was tabbed out writing this post.

I saw a couple goblins around me randomly die and hopped back in to finish it up. I am also having this issue. Try to avoid standing in it yourself, even the tiniest flames hurt pretty badly. This is an escort quest, so get ready to defend him beforehand.

Not all the Flamewalker Shamans have the ability though. Not all the Flamewalker Hunters have the ability though. QID ACH ;2 N The Flamewalker Sentinels in the area will sometimes pick up the target with the highest threat and walk slowly towards the lava with their prey. Not all the Flamewalker Sentinels have the ability though.

They can be found on the ledges you reach by using the thermal vents, or on the small rocks floating in the lava pools near the cave walls. Ability 1 does heavy damage a few seconds after impact, ability 2 is a knockback with little damage. The third ability returns you to the quest giver. There will be 3 of those in the area each day, so you will have to do this quest at least twice if you want the acievement. The author of this guide never got this quest however and is not sure whether it is still in the game at all, so it would be nice if you dropped a comment on wowpro.

The Matriarch will aggro, you can fight her if you want, or simply run away. However, watch out if the Rare-Elite spider Kirix patrols down there before you jump! Also acceptable from Skylord Omnuron near the Sentinel Tree.

If you do, you can turn either The Shadow Wardens or Druids of the Talon in to unlock several new dailies. Neither offers any benefits over the other, except maybe that tailors should choose Druids of the Talon for more cloths, while skinners can get more leather from Shadow Wardens. If you do, turn this quest in at Captain Saynna Stormrunner at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Hyjal to unlock several new dailies. If you do, turn this quest in at Skylord Omnuron in the Shrine of Aviana in Hyjal to unlock several new dailies.

This one is from Damek Bloombeard in the cave under the Sentinel Tree. This one is from Ayla Shadowstorm next to the newly created but empty Moonwell. This one is from Varlan Highbough. If you do, you can turn in one of your unlocking quests. Additional Armaments and Calling the Ancients each unlock one additional daily quest, while Filling the Moonwell unlocks a one-time-only questline that represents the final battle of the Firelands Invasion, the choice is yours.

Close this step to get coordinates for the other two quests, or turn in Additional Armaments at Matoclaw at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Hyjal. Both unlock one additional daily quest. Additional Armaments unlocks one additional daily quest, while Filling the Moonwell unlocks a one-time-only questline that represents the final battle of the Firelands Invasion, the choice is yours. Normal Wielders of the empowered Runestaff of Nordrassil will receive debuff Rage of Ragnaros that knocks-back allies every 60 seconds.

If the wielder survives the fight , Ragnaros will submerge and quest item Heart of Flame will spawn in the middle of the lava, where it must be manually looted. You may need to wait approximately 60 seconds for the Heart of Flame to spawn. Protip : Rage of Ragnaros will continue to proc even after Ragnaros is defeated.

When the knockback is cast, players with the buff will be temporarily immune to the lava and can easily loot the Heart of Flame. Heroic Ragnaros can be killed without special mechanics and the Runestaff of Nordrassil does not even have to be equipped. Players on the quest will still need to be alive to be eligible for the quest item. Post by neithskye Not that having to hard cast Exorcism 18 times to kill one mob isn't fun or anything.

But it's even worse when you have to burn things fast, like that "Into the Fire" quest where you follow the Druid who quenches the fire. I have to be facing the target to use Holy Shock and Exorcism, which isn't easy to do when you are following the Druid. Great, I'm overwhelmed by Naga. Guess I should kill some of them. Target one. The Druid died.

Post by Catriona R I'm not noticing that tbh, maybe paladins got nerfed but priests are far stronger when not in a DPS spec than they were before. Holy isn't great but Disc is ideal for soloing, I've never felt any need to even consider shadow. Post by IYM The reason I'm asking is that it seems sometimes more quests show up for one toon of mine than another. I'm running 1 toon through the dailies every day, and 3 others pretty close to that.

My main is ahead by a few days as sometimes I just don't have enough hours in a day. She has turned in both the shadow and druid marks, which after you get 3 more quests from three vendors that ask for an additional marks each. She has turned in her first at guy in the back not the pool or inside the tree and is at marks for the 2nd My druid turned in the same amount, but chose filling the moonwell.

Now when I did that one, I got a 4 part Lyarea sp? I talk to people on vent and some say they get one quest and not another Doesn't seem very consistant in what quests are given out and seems a little random.

Is that intended or I guess somehow don't know how I missed something with the rogue? I did them in a row, so not sure how I could have, but possible.

It's just simply that doing them together is a lot better than one after the other My God, I'd be running them for 6 months.

The other reason is I'm trying to get the patterns on the blacksmith so I can try and make some gold Unfortunate that he's the furthest behind. Blacksmithers get a ton like 8? Engineers get two. My lucky tailor gets a bag - not even a big standard bag or something, but a profession bag My alchemist gets nada and neither does jewcrafting or anyone else Tailoring to me has gotten the worst screwover on patterns since cata came out. Post by IYM - and that's about all you can do with them Here they had a chance to give something to some of the other crafters, and they get doink again.

Post by Catriona R Post by IYM My rogue has been doing the exact thing as my mage, but some quests don't appear from him that appear for her. Finished the fireland dailies on my main, and got my mount on Saturday. It's cool using the locket that transforms you into a Fire Druid for 5 min, then riding that mount in that form I like the mount. It's behavior while standing there is fun to watch as it's very bird-like - pecking at the ground, scratching and then finding something good to eat and throws his head back and snaps down his throat whatever he found was good to nibble I guess I like watching mounts mannerisms when they stand still.

I know he's similar to another mount can't remember which but he's got flames Post by IYM I should be getting the mount on my Druid in the next day or two, followed by my rogue a day or two after.

My DK should finish sometime next week Then I don't care if I ever see that damn place again! I have two more to get through and they are working on their last Post by Catriona R Quite annoyed atm, seems someone's found a lovely way to grief others, or that's what it added up to in my mind. As a disc priest, my killing power is good enough to solo the escort, but it's not the easiest, and I usually end up fearing the last mob and waiting for it to wander off anyway, since moving while killing isn't that easy for me.

Now, today, a nelf priest comes up and just follows me, doesn't even bother dismounting so it's bloody obvious that he's not helping at all. Meaning I'm left trying to deal with double the number of mob spawns, solo, needless to say, I can't.

Fade only dumped aggro onto the druid, sadly, and once that ended I had to try to heal myself through loads of mobs on me, since no way I could move and kill double the usual number, think I had about 6 of them on me by the end of the walk.

Thank goodness they do wander off when you reach the end or it would've been a failure for sure. Frankly I should've let them kill the druid so the stupid nelf didn't get it complete, but since I'd have got stranded in the middle of the fire too, it seemed best to struggle on. Seriously annoyed though, anyone with some decency would bother to help out when they can clearly see it's a healer struggling to kill the mobs other priest was a healer too, going on the Chakra graphic I could see coming off him, surely he must know what it feels like to struggle to kill too many mobs on him at once, then?

Post by IYM Yea - Happens a lot someone going through with you I've never seen anyone try and purposely grief someone in in there though. People jump in with someone because otherwise they have to wait for it to clear.
